Robbski Game Review - LEFT 4 DEAD

General Gaming News

Luv this game.

Loads of damn evil zombies to frag and bash and molotov and pipe bomb your way through.

Left 4 Dead

Playing through the single player with computer ai and they are surprisingly smart , never getting to lost ,and generally saving your ass in a tight spot.

It's really meant for online coop play where 4 survivors try and get from one safe house to another in the eventual aim of finding safety.

My personal fav weapons would have to be the auto shotgun 8 or 10 shell and the good old M16 assault rifle. Picking off single zombies is pretty simple and shouldnt give you much hassle , but then every now and then the 'horde' arrives and and a battle for survival , best to find nice defensive position and watch each others back .

Apart from the normal Zombies.... you have the special higher level undead.

  • Hunter , really quick and jumps all over the place.
  • Boomer , big fat zombie , that if gets to close vomits sombie bile and u and that attracts a horde of undead to target who /all that got spewed on.
  • Witch , try not to get to close and starling this one , she just goes mental and if she gets u generally leavs you lying hald dead on the floor needing help from a fellow surevivor.
  • Tank .... my fav , big huge car sized mofo , who flings cars ,and huge slabs of concrete at you ..... whole team need to pump this bad boy full of lead ...shotguns at close range will bring him down eventually ...but its a fight , if he swings for you u go flying until you hit sumin.

So the game is split into chapters , with 4 or five levels in them , on finishing one last night the total zombies killed were 2048.

Muwahahahaha...
