The Halo: Reach Xbox 360 Beta will run for 17 days till May 19th.

What do you need to play this beta ?

Halo 3: ODST’s Campaign Disc
A Valid Xbox LIVE Gold Subscription
A Broadband Internet Connection
Approximately 1.2 Gigabytes of Hard Drive Disk Space

To Download the Beta:

Insert and Launch Halo 3: ODST’s Campaign Disc
Select “Play the Beta” from the main menu
Follow the onscreen prompts and instructions

Note: The download process may be subject to extended wait times. Server load is expected to be extremely high, especially during the first few hours and days of Beta availability. Please bear with us and stay tuned to Bungie.net for news and information.

After uninstalling graphics card or sound drivers it can happen that some is not properly removed and causing errors after you installed a new driver. By using DriverSweeper_2.1.0 you make sure all old is removed before installing new drivers.

Driver Sweeper is a fast tool to remove driver leftovers from your system. It's very important to remove your drivers on a proper way, because driver leftovers can cause problems like stability and startup problems. You can use it if you want to update/remove drivers from your system.

How to use ?

There are two methods to use Driver Sweeper.
Both methods achieve the same results. This method is always able to clean all files.

This method will delete remaining files upon reboot (if deleting failed). You can clean your drivers this way:

Use the official uninstaller(s) of the driver(s) you want to uninstall.
Reboot your PC in Safe Mode.
Run Driver Sweeper and select what to clean.
Analyse lists all the entries possible to remove, cleaning removes the entries selected.
More drivers can be selected for the same cleaning process.

What can it be used for ?
The current supported drivers are NVIDIA (Display and Chipset), ATI (Display), Creative (Sound) Realtek (Sound), Ageia (PhysX) and Microsoft (Mouse).

All the settings are saved in an ini file. Nothing is created in the registry, so it's possible to use it as a portable program. Log files can be saved to the harddisk and viewed as well. You can find the logs under the Tools menu.

America's Army

Government tallies total budget for free-to-play first-person shooter and military recruitment tool's first decade of development.

The America's Army series of free-to-play PC first-person shooters that double as recruitment tools has cost the US government $32.8 million over 10 years, according to data obtained through a GameSpot Freedom of Information Act request.

The US Army first revealed America's Army in 2002, although expenditures on the project began in 2000. At the time, it was touted as a five-year project with a budget of $7 million.

There are many games that do not support widescreen properly. These games usually let you set a widescreen resolution, but do not adjust the field of view (FOV) accordingly. This causes the top and bottom of the screen to be cropped. Because of this issue, blooguard decided to develop a program that will adjust the field of view for the aspect ratio of your monitor.

If you're having problems with any of the Battlefield games, reapply the latest patch and see if it helps.
