Activision felt the need to start an ELITE service for its Call of Duty series. Pay to watch your online stats, contact your friends, watch a few extra CoD Video trailers, some pictures and loads of interviews with... I dunno, I think Activision employees. Just pay to be dazzled by all great things Activision has to offer.
(Didn´t MW2 had an advertisement for a similar service on its official website? ..... Found it. )
But what about the less great things? The subjects Activision don´t want to talk about and don´t want buyers to know about ?
Many players would love to pay a small fee to get their expensive Activision games to do as expected; giving players a GREAT online experience.
Fluidly moving from one scene to the next; just like in the promo trailers.
Hate to tell this, but what you see isn´t always what you get. Like this one :
WHERE is that tedious lag in CoD: Black Ops coming from ?
For some it started right after PC Cod: Black Ops got its 1.09 patch !
After the 1.09 patch went LIVE suddenly many players got severe frame drops and lag. And they still have !
So.... if there were a paid online service for this kind of problems, Actvision could easily double their annual revenue.
