Today a second Modern Warfare 3 Content Collection will be available for all who play this game on the Xbox.

The Modern Warfare 3 Collection 2 contains new Multiplayer Maps, Special Ops Missions and will bring the Face Off gamemode.

And Tina Palacios, Infinity Ward’s Community Manager, started with answering MW3 questions. 

She gave a few interesting answers :

• Blast radius from Dead Man’s Hand will be nerfed in an upcoming update.
• Release date for new Face-off maps for PS3 “To be determined”, but free maps are coming.
• They are looking into a “temporary” playlist for 6v6 Face-off. Nothing to confirm yet.
• 3v3 Face-off “may be coming soon”.
• Hardcore versions of Face-off might come.
• Fixes for PC issues are in the works
• Always looking at request on the official MW3 Forums.
• MW2 Maps returning? “he he he… not telling”

With the  MW3-DLC-1-Deactivator  you can play the regular playlist with ALL your friends again !

New Call of Duty :Black Ops 2 Trailer- Shown during the Champions League Finale 5/19/2012

Treyarch talks about bringing Call of Duty: Black Ops 2's Multiplayer back to the basics and hints at a much bigger zombies mode, including competitive game modes.

Though Black Ops 2 multiplayer details are scarce at the moment, the latest issue of the Official Xbox Magazine revealed some aspects of Treyarch’s philosophy behind their plans to innovate when it comes to the multiplayer. It can be tough to stray from the current winning multiplayer formula that millions of CoD fans have come to know and love, but Treyarch seems bent on “challenging some long held assumptions,” according to OXM.

Treyarch explains that this time around, the multiplayer is being “stripped back to the core,” most likely meaning that they are going to be building the multiplayer from the ground up, rather than adding on to what is already established – a risky move that could pay off and be exactly what the franchise needs. Additionally, Treyarch wants to make sure that Black Ops 2’s multiplayer is welcoming to veterans, new players and everyone in between.

Lead Multiplayer Gameplay Designer at Treyarch David Vonderhaar recently also hinted at brand new knifing system that could make its way to Black Ops 2’s multiplayer.

We recently learned that Zombies was getting an overhaul by adopting Black Ops 2’s multiplayer engine, as well as adding brand new game modes and 8-player co-op, but Treyarch also hinted at larger maps and some form of competitive play in this issue of OXM. They also boasted the fact that Zombies will be a fully-fledged game mode this time around, rather than a mini-game add-on.

Gamedeveloper NovaLogic sues Activision over using Delta Force logo in Modern Warfare 3.

Their complaint states:

“There is no unit of the U.S. Army called Delta Force… There is a branch of the Army’s Special Operations known as 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment Delta (’1st SF-ODD’). The U.S. Army officially denies that any unit called Delta Force exists and does not claim ownership to either the Delta Force name or the logo… The infringing mark’s lightning rod is horizontal rather than vertical and a portion of the delta sign is set behind the dagger blade rather than being superimposed.”

According to the report, Activision denied NovaLogic's request to change in May 2011.

“As a result of defendants’ [Activision's] wrongful conduct, NovaLogic has lost millions of dollars, possibly more,” according to the complaint. “If defendants’ infringing practices are not discontinued quickly, it is likely that the damage to NovaLogic will grow exponentially, causing more confusion in the market place, and to the reputation for quality that NovaLogic has worked so hard to establish.”
