PC MW2 - where is 402 and IW?

While trying catch up on everything, I realized something in regards to the latest news about Infinity Ward's decision to remove dedicated servers by offering us something called IWnet

I think by now everyone has heard me say, why wasn't this information released well in advance? If it was, they could have spent this valuable time before release to educate and try and make us understand better what the benefits are to the PC community but the didn't for some strange reason.

Now fast forward to late in the week after the breaking news heard around the world. So where is the IW community manager after all this? Why isn't he spending all his time making the rounds and trying to give us as much info as he can in regards to IWnet , why not try and pacify the PC customers at this time when so close to release? If anyone cares to remember, the game is being released in stores in less then 20 days, where the hell is IW!

Where is all the PR and official detailed information in regards to IWnet? I would think you would want to spend some quality time with your PC customers. Valuable time, trying to convince them that IW knows best and to trust them. But for some strange reason IW and 402 have disappeared, when they should be blanketing the net with interviews, interaction, site visits, screen shots, trailers, movies, world tours. All tailored to this great new matchmaking experience called IWnet.

We've only received a very small write up on 402's personal blog so far. Come on, this info should be plastered on the front page of the official Call of Duty site along with all those other things I just mentioned.

If this was me, I would be blanketing this information all over the net. I would be meeting with the PC customers to try and explain my point of view on why IWnet is so much better then dedicated servers.

But at last all we have is Infinity Ward and 402 keeping very quiet about IWnet, their decision to remove dedicated servers and the one big thing I've been fighting for - communication.

Is this what we can expect once the game ships? Can we expect more of the same old same old, lack of any real interaction with the customers who where there at the beginning taking a chance with a new developer and a new franchise?

Funny even if they announced dedicated servers in a patch "sometime" after release, would you still trust them with such an important piece of the multiplayer experiences? When they have shown no real support for our platform during the development cycle leading up to release?

My question to Infinity Ward, do you really care about the PC customer?
