De co-op modes in Call of Duty: Black Ops

Mark Lamia, de baas van game-ontwikkelaar Treyarch Studios heeft gemeld dat Call of Duty: Black Ops verschillende nieuwe co-op varianten zal bevatten. Maar de co-op zoals in Call of Duty: World at War komt NIET meer terug.

Lamia vertelde dat de co-op tevens heel anders zal zijn dan wat wij verwachten: "We're crafting unique co-op modes around that experience, but it is different than what people think."

Lamia voegt hier aan toe dat de studio dit keer ook een speciaal Multiplayer ontwikkel-team gebruikt. Met Call of Duty: Black Ops draait de ontwikkelaar de zaak zelfs om: "Let me put it in perspective for you. We had multiplayer started and up and running in the project so early that some single-player levels actually are being built around multiplayer maps that we had in production."

De openhartige Lamia laat nog niets los over Zombies in CoD: Black Ops....

Call of Duty: Black Ops release datum is 9 november voor de PC, Xbox 360 en Playstation 3.
