Modern Warfare 2 - Are Hackers Gonna be Dealt With ?

Many buyers/players of the PC version of Modern Warfare 2 have this 1 question :
Can Infinity Ward stop those Hackers ruining the Modern Warfare 2 game ?
Personally I would say : "They can't ." The last two MW2 update patches made this very clear.
Infinity Ward made a wrong decision. With Punkbuster and dedicated servers we would have had hack-free servers today.
They underestimated the benefit of having server-admins. Plus the fact that the PC community made own anti-cheat server scripts in the past CoD years.
Say IW has 10 people working on the security problem at IW HQ.
Those ten are outnumbered by hundreds of smart brains on (now) the other side......
It is a lose-lose situation.
