A few days after the release of a new Call of Duty title we always make a list of all things Players stumbled upon.

So you can check this list if your not alone with your findings.....

Blue Screen of Death : Ok i dont mind the odd glitch or bug here n there its to be expected but 5 times today i have played online and had a bluescreen restart my windows... Thats 8 hours of stats and weapon upgrades out the friggin window. Yes i make a backup of my players folder but after a long game and then it BSOD's your pretty much fooked init. Seriously this needs looking at . I havent got the sound card or drivers associated with this or any problems with my drivers... Like i say its when i go to exit a game it happens.

Freeze : I go to Multiplayer / Start new server (just to view a map). I select a map (I tried Cliffside). The map loads all the way, then everything seems to freeze. Then CoD crashes to the desktop and I get the Windows error reporting tool telling me that CoD crashed and it will notify me if it finds a solution. Single Player works fine except for the loading videos problem. Sometimes i get the error:direct3ddevice9.....
 

SP : The intro parts to a mission, idk, i guess its the breifing, well the sound is werry choppy and it studders a lot. then the gameplay runs fine upto the 3rd mission (hard landing); when i beat the 2nd mission (little resistance) it starts to load the 3rd one ( still choppy and studdering sound)and when i see the word START my computer either freezez, restarts, or gets the blue screan of death.

SP : When i try to load the missions it will go to a black screen and i will hear voices while the board loads. I will then crash at some point during the game and loose my saved checkpoint or the whole board. When i start the game up again I can actually see the cut screens and movies but only for the first introduction or first board i start on. From there on out it just goes to black screen.

SP : Briefing sounds stutters alot.

SP :  Nonsensible invicible walls EVERYWHERE. Like on the first mission, when you down the road after that truck. You can't go out in the grass on the sides of the road... Why the **** can't I do that? It's not like there's something in my way? And the same kind of stupid thing in the cabin close to the invisible walls I mentioned, the doors are open and the windows are huge on it, but I can't go in at all. But I can see japanese in there, and the furniture. Why can the japanese go in there but not me?

SP :  At the mission "Little Resistance" the mission don't want to end. I get the objective to regroup with my squad, but when I do. They just stand there staring into the wall. After killing myself with a grenade I tried again, and then it worked. I shouldn't have to do that!

Co-Op :  Sometimes when i go to join a non zombie server i double click and nothing happens, click the "join server" button at the botom of the server page and same thing. but before that, i could get to a server and when it started to load a map it suddenly stops and i hear that error message pop up but my screan stays like its load ing the page forever (untill i shut down my computer)

Co-Op : If I tab out of the game all the players on my game gets kicked out. 

MP : When i try to connect to a server, i get an error saying: SERVER AUTHENTICATION FAILURE. I figured out a way to get past this, u just re-launch your online profile and it then lets you connect to a server. BUT, after playing one round it starts to load a new map and it makes my computer either freeze, restart, or get the blue screan of death. (i did install the patch, updated drivers and DX)

MP :  I got the blue screen of death last night as it dumped all my physical memory and restarted my computer. This has not happened b4 but I have crashed to desktop several times trying to play the game online. This seems to be a serious problem and Also my computer goes to black during every map change instead of having a load screen.

MP : When i try to load the 3rd mission or a map in Multiplayer i get a DirectX error. DirectX encountered an unrecoverable error.
